Last reviewed 31 October 2026. This page is written for tevaiora.com and for this house, and it is not a copy of anybody else's.
Who publishes this site
Tevaiora, 14 Begley Street, Airlie Beach, Queensland 4802, Australia. Write to [email protected] or telephone (07) 4946 0118 and ask for the duty manager.
What happens if you only read
Nothing that identifies you. The site has no booking engine, no payment page and no accounts, so there is nothing here that can hold a name, a card or a reservation.
Your browser may end up holding two values, both of which only this site can read back:
| Name | What it holds | How long |
|---|---|---|
| tevaiora_age_ok | The word yes, if you answered the age question | Until you clear your browser storage |
| tevaiora_consent | granted or denied, your answer about measurement | Until you clear your browser storage |
Both stay on your device. Neither is sent to us and neither reaches any other company.
Server logs
Our host records the usual request line: the address that asked, the page, the time, the browser string, and whether it worked. These are kept for 30 days and are used to see whether the site is up and whether somebody is attacking it. They are not matched against anything else.
If you write or telephone
An email to the address above is kept while we are dealing with it and for 12 months after, so that we can find the thread if you write again. A telephone call is not recorded. Nothing you send us is passed to anybody for marketing.
What is measured
Nothing. No analytics tag and no advertising tag is fetched when a page opens. Consent Mode starts every page with all four signals denied, before any other script runs. If a measurement tag is ever added here it will not fire until you have answered the storage question with Allow, and it will stop firing the moment you change that answer.
Lawful basis
Your consent covers the two stored answers, and on our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website for the server logs. Correspondence is kept on the basis of the steps you have asked us to take.
Who else sees anything
Our hosting provider, because the site sits on their machine, and our email provider. Neither is given anything beyond what passing your request through requires. We sell nothing to anybody.
Your rights, and who hears a complaint
Under the Privacy Act 1988 you may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and complain about how we handled it. The first step is a letter or an email to the address above. If you are not satisfied, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner hears complaints about Australian businesses.
Children
The reader this site assumes is an adult. Nothing is knowingly collected from anybody under 18, and the one room here that carries an age rule has somebody posted at it.
