Terms of use
Last reviewed 31 October 2026. This page is written for tevaiora.com and for this house, and it is not a copy of anybody else's.
Adults
This site describes a hotel that contains one gaming room, and Queensland sets the age for that room at 18. If you are under 18, the room is closed to you and so is this part of the site.
There is no gambling on this website
Nothing on tevaiora.com accepts a stake, holds an account, pays a prize or moves money. There is no game here to play and there is no software here to download. Everything described happens in a room at 14 Begley Street and nowhere else.
Accuracy, and what this page is not
The hours, the room counts and the descriptions here are kept up, and any of them can be out by the time you read it: a table shut, a room off, a boat cancelled. Nothing here is an offer or a contract. A booking exists when we have confirmed it to you directly, by telephone or by email.
What belongs to the house
Everything written, photographed and drawn here belongs to the house. Take a sentence if it is useful, as long as a link comes with it. The photographs and the drawings stay here, and nobody else’s name goes on any of it.
Links out
Where this site links to somebody else, such as a transport timetable, that is for your convenience. We do not control what is on the other end and we are not responsible for it.
On the property
Staff may ask anyone to leave the gaming room, the bar or the house, and may refuse entry, without giving a reason. That applies most often to somebody who has had too much to drink, and it is not a negotiation. The Long Table has one sitting and the kitchen stops when it stops.
Availability
A handful of static files sitting on a rented server. It drops out now and then and we make no claim otherwise.
Liability
We are responsible for what we do wrong on the property. Our liability for anything that follows from using this website is limited as far as the laws of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia allow it to be. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia, and the courts of Queensland have jurisdiction.
